If The Real Estate Cafe refers you to a traditional full-service listing broker to sell your house, and your house sells, the listing broker pays a referral fee to us. Here's what happens next:

1. We rebate a third of the fee to you.
2. We donate a third of the fee to an AIDS Shelter Alliance Partner (your choice).
3. We keep a third of the fee.

How Large Is The Referral Fee?

Referal fees traditionally equal 25% of the listing broker's share of the commission. Here's an example:

1. With a 5% commission on a $600,000 house, the full commision would be $30,000.
2. The listing broker's share would be $15,000.
3. 25% of $15,000 = $3750.
4. $3750 / 3 = $1250

Result: A $1250 rebate to you, and an equal donation to an AIDS Shelter Alliance Partner.
